ReplyDeleteA. The cool thing about set A is how many time periods that it can consist in. I would have to that it mostly resembles a more classical time period where Royal Balls were held along with someone playing the piano for everyone to dance to. The beautiful chandeliers along with white post in the center of the set allow for a very artistic feel that many people saw in the Baroque and Classical Periods. The object that defines the setting all together is the gorgeous painting on the back wall. This painting allows the audience to see a far more through deception. This set does keep one common trait to it no matter what time period it is used in, and that it is home to the wealthy.
B. Set B seems to be less common to me, but it still holds a pretty useful theme, because it resembles the home of the average man. The home in the set is pretty updated and the green lawn lets the audience know that it the house is probably in a somewhat populated place. The house also has a clothesline that helps the audience place the setting in the not too distant past. The importance of the set is how it relates to common man and his/her problems. The basic house resembles the majority of viewers in some way, allowing for deeper connections among the play and its audience.
C. Set C is definitely a well known set throughout theatre history. Using the living room as a set allows audiences to experience the daily lives of the characters. The simple way characters may eat, sleep, or relax makes a common connection with the common person. The set is a huge part in allowing the audience to see themselves in the positions of the characters, so that the actions of the characters mean more than what they are. This set is basic way of allowing the setting to present a common scene on level that almost anyone could relate with.
D. Set D holds a lot of aspects of set A, but it also does a lot more. The lack of props makes for a stronger reliance on the dialogue of the characters. While this may seem risky to many playwrights, it actually is a chance for them to show their true talent. The painting of the mountain in the back also adds on with huge depth. The overall scene makes the audience feel that there is so much space unused. The tall pillars and stone like walls create even more depth into the set that also helps set the time period. The lack of props increases the audience’s insecurity of knowledge of the set to bring about a dazzling conclusion.
Set A – At first glance it seems to be trying to portray a rich Roman’s home. I first got this impression from way the set is decorated with pillars sticking out of the ground with flowers on the top of them. The curtains at the top of the picture a red with what seems to be gold tassels, this also has a Roman feel to it. As I was looking at the set I noticed the piano, which would mean that this is not a Roman home. It could possibly the home of a famous musician. I say famous because of how elaborate his home is. Also the home appears to be on quite a bit of land when looking through the window.
ReplyDeleteSet B – This set looks like it is showing a rural American home. The home seems to be fairly old due the slightly faded paint and the choice of colors. Whoever lives there seems to be a self sufficient person. Judging by the water jug in the picture there is probably a well nearby to draw water. It is probably home to only one or two people because it does not look very big.
Set C – This home looks to be the home of an outdoors man who is a hunter. I base the idea that he is a hunter off of the two guns above the door and what I think looks like an animal’s head, possibly a deer, mounted on the wall. Probably a simple person who does need too much and has frequent guests due to amount of sitting furniture in the home.
Set D – This set seems to be of Greek influence. The Greeks used a lot of columns in their architecture and there are several in this picture. It also could a home in Pompeii just before the volcano erupted killing many people. I say this because of the window’s view showing a smoking volcano. It could possibly be a religious building based off the people in it. A girl is restrained possible for some religious human sacrifice ritual. Or it could just be a rich person’s home who is punishing a slave.

ReplyDeleteSet 1: This first set seems like it would be used for some type of meeting or maybe a celebration. The set looks like it could be used in an 1800's setting. With the way the set is presented i think it could be used for a scene that might come out of a story in the days of the american revolution. This idea may not be what others think but it's just an opinion.
ReplyDeleteSet 2: This set looks like it would be closer to something that is from a setting in the 1920's or 30's. I say this because of the way the man is dressed on the left side of the photo. The house looks like its larger than the average house. I would think that the possible story for this setting is one that deals with a man down on his luck trying to find a job so he can pay for his home. Or face loosing it.
Set 3: This set looks as if it is in a cabin. Or it might belong to a hunter or even somone who enjoys collecting guns. My reasoning for that is based of of the rifles on the wall. I would think that a possible story for this setting is one that is either moderatly happy or one of great sadness, only because of the lighting.
Set 4: This being one of the most interesting sets. Set 4 looks like it is based in the greek or roman times. Judging off of costumes and the overall setting. I picture this setting dealing with the volcano erupting and killing all the inhabitants of the city.

ReplyDeleteIn set A, it appears to appeal to the upper class at a first glance. The elegant scenery and magnificent design creates a feeling of wealth and prosperity among the audience and the characters. The time period I would say that best places this set in would have to be around the Baroque era, perhaps even European. This scene would be used with grand balls and events where a major scene would take place in a play.
ReplyDeleteSet A doesn't appeal to me as much, for I do not always look at elegance, but more towards detail and plainer architecture. Each set changes as the people and history changes. This is how theatre mirrors society.
In set B, prairie life is the main theme point, or center of this particular play. The more simple for ground adds to the play's concept of a more close and related theme to the audience. I would have to enjoy this theme more than set A because this appeals to me on a more personal level. Also I would have to say the purpose of this play, by judging the set, would have to appeal to the average and common man of society. This is completely different from set A of course.
In set C, western American life is the predominate theme in this particular play. A family perhaps would be shown in and around the living room area. This set appeals to the more family oriented. Also this set would be good to build suspense among an audience by creating a sense of false comfort. The simple western life is shown with the outdoor themed architecture and furniture. Overall, this would definitely have to be my favorite set of all the four.
Set D, to me, would have to make me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy. The lack of detail and concept makes me feel as if this play would not me very entertaining, my more Greek-like in structure. This play seems to appeal to scholars, as it draws the eye away from the set and towards the characters. The speech of the characters seems to be the center of the plays meaning and concept.

All four sets get more gradually modern, which shows how theatre must change to meet the changing interests of society and its people. I enjoy seeing how the technical aspects of theatre changes as time progresses.

ReplyDeleteSet 1: The first set seems like it could be used for a celebration, maybe a wedding. It looks like it is set in either the 1800s or the early 1900s. People acting on this set will probably wear elaborate costumes similar to what you might see in the Victorian era.
Set 2: The second set seems like it is out in the country during the early 1900s. This is because of the color of the paint on the house, the way the old man is dressed, and of course, the old screen door. Also, the man seems to be reflecting on something. This could possibly be a story for this scene would be about a man doing everything he can to raise his family.
Set 3: This set seems to reflect on the simple western life. You would most likely see the entire family gathered in here. Later on, the men might go out and hunt. You can tell this by the guns and the deer on the wall.
Set 4: This set is very interesting. The walls are turned sideways and act as the floor. There also seems to be a Greek influence. This can be seen through the use of columns. You can also see that a tragedy is about to happen because of the volcano in the background.

C: this one just like a chill place to be, kinda like a hunting lodge or summer cabin. the lights are bright so i feel that it would be a happy play
D: this set looks good because that one girl is tied down. so i think the play would be dramatic.

I think it one of the most original ideas because it turns away from rich upper class and moves into a lifestyle more and more common people were starting to acquire. Im kinda board with the Roman theme anyway because I know its going to be the most typical.

ReplyDeleteSet A - When I looked at this set, the first thing I noticed weren the creepy painted-on people at the back of the set. I was asking myself why real people are'nt being used in the set, then I began to wonder if it was even a theatrical set in the first place. I think it could be a museum piece. That is the only reason I can think of to create a realistic set and paint on people. I may be overthinking this because, with my ultra-limited theatrical knowledge, the whole painted-on-people thing could be a normal thing in theatre.
Set B: This set reminds me of a small, southern town full of problems. Maybe racial tentions or problems with domestic violence, you know, typical Southern stuff. I also got a To Kill a Mockingbird vibe from the set. If there was a tire swing outside, it would be perfect. By the way that the guy on the bench is looking away, it gives me the idea that these may be hidden secrets or skeletons in the closet.
Set C: This set reminds me of the movie The Most Dangerous Game. I can really see the plot unfolding on this set. A man is lured to a desolate lodge and is hunted down like an animal for the pure sport of rich hunters. The shotgun and rifle on the wall look to be late 19th century-early 20th so the lodge really fits the movie's time period. I also get some sense of false ambition from the set, it looks like a rich, urban businessman wanted to join the rural lifestyle so he bought his way in.
Set D: I would bet a ridiculous amount of money that this is a set from a play based in Pompeii.I see a scene of false reality in this picture, you have the master with his mistress and slave acting as if Mt. Vesuvius is not spouting lava down upon them and about to completely destroy everthing they have. This is typical of the mainstream beliefs about the rich in modern times. This sense of immortality was probably true back in the time of Pompeii when the social classes were so uneven.

ReplyDeleteSet A: This set is extremely aristocratic and upper class in nature. We can see very elaborate chandeliers, a grand looking piano, and a nice hard floor pattern. It seems as if a set like this would be used for some sort of romance perhaps involving a take on the classic good versus evil idea. The set also reminds me of a classic ballroom located inside a mansion. The time period associated with this set looks to be around the beginning of the 20th century. Based on the set, I would expect characters in this play to wear very elaborate clothing such as suits and dresses.
ReplyDeleteSet B: This set looks a little bit more modern than the first set but it is still not modern by our times. It looks as if it is a house located out in the country, perhaps even on a farm. When I look at this house I tend to think about racial problems. About one hundred years ago racial tension still ran extremely high in the southern United States and it seems as if the location of this house would fit that bill. It seems as if a set like this might be involved in a play about kids growing up in a small town.
Set C: This set appears to be a home belonging to a family leading a simple and yet wealthy life style. From the guns on the wall we can see that the family probably hunts regularly and leads a western life style. However, we can also see that they probably have a decent amount of money because of the extravagant furniture and high ceiling. This scene reminds me of a play involving a western frontier family with each of the family members trying to find their place in the world.
Set D: This scene is very extravagant with high walls and precision architecture. However, the set is not too eye-popping to where it takes away the focus from the characters. It is important that we focus on the characters here because we can see that a girl is chained up and apparently begging to be unchained. The volcano in the background gives the idea that something bad is about to happen and that unless the girl gets unchained she will be left behind. Because of this, the play is most likely a drama.

ReplyDeleteWhile looking at Set D it did not occur to me that the play might involve something about Pompeii. However when you think about it in relation to the volcanoe in the background this assumption is probably correct.
The set in the first picture looks like it belongs in a palace. It is probably a play that has royalty in it. You wouldn’t have a stage like that and then have it be a poor family’s home. No, it is obviously a play about rich people. I like it a lot. It is very elaborate. The second picture looks like it is on a farm. It is probably a play with poor or middle wage characters in it. You can tell this because it is a very simple house. The third picture is the best. It is a very nice room. You can tell it is near a place that you can hunt because there are guns on the wall. The characters are probably relatively rich as well. The last set looks like it take s place a long time ago. It is very simple. The pillars also make it look like the play takes place a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteTheatre sets dramatically. They used to be very simple, almost nothing there. Now, even the simplest sets would be considered elaborate compared to older sets. Sets can help the audience to completely lose themselves in the play. Personally, I think that the more elaborate the set is the better. I like big sets. I think that small simple sets are boring.

Set A: The set of Set A would seem like something used in a play about a high scale family. The time period of the work could not really be determined since the designing of people's houses now a day seems to show many of the features from older designs. This could easily be used in a Shakespearian work, as well as a modern work from the 20th century.
ReplyDeleteSet B: Set B obviously represents the country life. It can be guessed that the time period ranged from the 1700's to maybe even the very early 1900's. If this is an American play, a solid prediction would be saying it is probably occurring in the South or the Midwest. With the design the house has, it may even be a rural home, but there seems to be hay on the ground which is a clear indicator of the country setting. The owner of this home does not seem very rich, as the home is quite small and the clothing the man in the photo is wearing does not seem very furnished.
Set C: This also seems like it could be a home in the country. For some reason, looking at it makes me think of a log cabin. There are two hunting guns on the wall, so it can be inferred that the owner of the home is a hunter. Unlike Set B, the owner on this home seems pretty wealthy as the living room shown seems pretty spacious, and a staircase can be seen.
Set D: This set reminds me of the Youtube video we were shown with the people with the matching white masks. It was Greek I believe. It would seem to resemble a dark scene, and one that may even scare the audience. Since it is possibly Greek, this scene may represent the underworld.

ReplyDeleteThere is no secrete that stage sets are to paint the theme of the play and describe to the audience where the characters are and what time period the characters of the play are in. In fact, if the audience knows these two key facts about the play's characters, they might be able to decipher what the characters will be doing before the act begins. However, each play's storyline looks to be different because each each picture portrays a set of a different home from a different culture and a different time period. Each set could be part of different storyline.
ReplyDeleteA Taking a look at the first picture, I was the given the feeling of the upper class in the Roman times because the set seem to try to portray that style of home. I would assume that the play is about rich romans who, stereotypically, have problems with corruption in their government.
B This cabin causes me to reminisce about the cabins slaves used to live in and are still used today by people in the South. The puzzling fact is that the man in the far left corner in neither black, nor dressing southern. But I imagine the storyline to take place in the south.
C The style of housing, is very close in the style of housing that the Spanish use. Whoever lives in this house, loves to hunt because there are several hunting artifacts on the walls. There is no doubt that this building was built in the wild away from major city’s.
D I did not have a idea that could be viable when i first saw this picture. All i thought was more rich Roman ideas, but when read another blog that identified the volcano that was yet visible to me, I realized this set could be a set of Pompeii. However, the female on the right looks like she is fishing and her actions greatly puzzle me.
The first set reminds me of a rich or noble family's house. Someone with royal or noble blood would live here, unlike the second set which looks to be a house set out west maybe in the middle of a farm in the dust bowl due to the dirty floor and hay on the ground. The third set looks like a lodge house or deer camp of a very wealthy big game hunter. The fourth picture looks like a bath house on a secluded island with tropical backgrounds
ReplyDeleteSet A seems very regal and looks like a place where royalty or a family of very high power would stay. The columns in the middle lead me to think this, and the piano in the center makes me think that the scene will have to do with music. It seems to be in the past.
ReplyDeleteSet B looks like a cabin to me. The setting is back in the woods somewhere solitary and quiet, and a hunter or a person who loves the outdoors lives there. It has a forrest like background, which indicates my point further that they are either camping or it is someone's summer cabin or something like that.
Set C looks like a very cozy den. The fire place makes me think that the room is warm and the antlers and guns on the wall tells me that the person is a hunter. It might be their hunting cabin.
Set D looks like a temple or something from Rome or Greece. It looks like a slave or some woman is tied up and a man and woman are just looking on at her, maybe to sacrifice her or something. The background indicates that this place is very secluded.
Set a looks to be an old-English set. It has the look of a royal house or a proper house. It looks like people actually care about what society thinks of them. Which means it is definitely not modern, because society is turning to who cares. I get the observation of it being old-English just by the intuition of how English proper people would have their house look like.
ReplyDeleteSet b reminds me of the west. It has the house of a western home with a backyard that is big enough for kids to play in. It has a porch which also gives off the western feel to it. This set is probably the closest to modern times but probably middle twentieth century.
Set C gives off a mountain type of house. It looks to be probably frontier days where people explored more. This set gives off a welcoming invitation to the show.
Set D is old-timey, it is from the time of the volcano Pompei. I know this because it has a picture of the volcano in the window. This play probably tells of the time before the volcano erupted in the eyes of the people.

Set A looks like it would be the setting of a more classically themed play, possibly one set the hall of a feudal lord in western Europe, or another of that time period. The chandeliers, the pillars, and the tiling of the floor give the the appearance of an upper class hall or a ballroom, due to the presence of a piano. The meadow in the background of the set gives the it a more western feel, like that of France or England.
ReplyDeleteSet B gives the appearance of a western cabin. I believe it also could be located in the south due to the temperate, rural looking scenery. The manger-type construct in the left section of the picture leads me to believe that it could be part of a farmhouse of some sort.
Set C is the living room of a cabin or some other small house. The number of chairs in the picture leads me to think that it is a family house. There are guns on the wall in the top of the picture which shows that it must be in a rural area.
Set D appears to be a temple or a monastery of some sort. The volcano in the background shows that it is in a mountainous region, or perhaps northern Italy. The figure in black in the middle of the picture looks to be some kind of religious figure.

I agree with your assessment of the first set. It looks like it's a wealthy or aristocratic person's home.
Set A: From this set, you can tell that a family from the upper class in society lives here. Probably in the Romantic time period with a king and/or queen. The piano suggests that there will be music in this part of the play.
ReplyDeleteSet B: This set shows a house of what is likely a working class family. It is very dark in the background which suggests that it is night time and the person who is alone suggests that she is lonely and has no one to be with.
Set C: In this set, I see the living room of an older couple who have family over for a visit. Often, older couples have a lot of nice furniture for when their children and grandchildren come to visit them. The fireplace suggests a cozy place in which they can just relax and enjoy each other's presence.
Set D: This set is likely an ancient Greek or Roman play. I say this because the set is not very elaborate and is actually very plain. The volcano in the background suggests that it is perhaps Pompeii and is about to erupt and destroy the town.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, Set A would most likely be used for a play set in Renaissance Italy, at a masquerade ball, where many powerful families are gathered and there would obviously be some tension as some sort of treachery was recently committed and the families are trying to use the party to let their tension go, but end up finding themselves having private and contained quarrels amongst themselves. Set B, I think, would be used in a play set in antebellum Nebraska, as the family living in the house shown, is torn apart by the potential of having one son fight for the Union, while the other fights for the Confederacy. The play would be focused mainly in the home, as the brothers quarrel, and the parents emotionally say good bye to the boys, but not after many attempts to convince both of the boys not to fight for either side, but they find no success. Set C would most likely be used for a play about the French and Indian war, in which the lodge pictured is the home of a very prosperous French trapper, who unfortunately had his wife and daughter kidnapped by the colonists to be held for ransom. The French trapper would most likely have many monologues in the room pictured that detailed his distress and longing to have his wife and daughter back. Set D, as mentioned previously, would most likely be used for a play describing the final acts of a wealthy family in Pompeii in the days leading up to the eruption of Mt Vesuvius. The play would probably provide us with an inside look at the life of a Roman family in Pompeii just a few days before the eruption.

ReplyDeleteDonnie I definitely agree with your statement that Set D is most likely from a play that would detail the life of one Roman family leading up to the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in Pompeii. That same though immediately popped into my head when I first saw the picture.
The first set reminds me of the old country days or England. The reason this is, is because the pillars and the paintings, also the lady all dressed up. She looks like she would be dressed like a plantation owner or a wealthy owner in the country. 2. The second set reminds me of a simple country house. I see this because it just looks like that type of setting the house and the man out in the front sitting down. 3. The third set kind of reminds me of a hunter’s house. This is because of the guns on the wall, the fire place, and the way it is set up. The couches make it homey and it looks like a home away from home. 4. The last one reminds me of a sort a Greek or Roman palace. The reason is because the volcano or the painting of one in the background. The way the people are dressed looks like they are Roman or Greek people. Also the pillars give it that Roman and Greek look. Also the people in it look like they have a slave and looking at her clothing the slave girl looks Greek and the other two people look Roman.

Set A: This set looks like a ballroom or somewhere that would hold a type of royal dance or something. It looks like a place where there would be all wealthy people and definitley not a place for the poor. You can tell it would be for the wealthy by the chandeliers and the piano and the type of floor they had. Im not really sure what time period this could have been in because it seems like it could be portrayed in many different ones and not a distinct period of time.

ReplyDeleteAt first glance the scene A seems that it is likely set in Roman or Greek theatre, but after I studied it for a moment I came to the conclusion that it probably takes place in the classical period. It is more developed than Greek and Roman sets, such as: the elaborate paintings, marble floors, and chandeliers. The one thing that certifies that it takes place after the Roman era is the piano in the middle of the stage. This signifies that it must takes place during or after the classical period of theatre.
I believe that scene B is an early to mid twentieth century American set. The stage portrays a contemporary American home. It seems that it is at least fifty years old judging by the architecture and styling of the home. The reason I believe that it is set in a turn of the century play is because theatre at that time focused on the common man and this scene gives me the feeling of middle class, early to mid 20th century America.
Set C seems to take place in a hunting lodge. It is most likely in the northern United States and possibly Canada judging by the caribou head mounted on the wall. This story probably takes place in the 19h century.
Set D takes place in Greek or Roman times because of the way the stage is set and the gloomy portrayal of a volcano in the background. This usually means a tragedy is about to take place and Greek and Roman theatre are centered on tragedies.

Set A) It seems like this set would be used in a roman tragedy or god story. There are old flower pots and the actual room of the place looks like it would be around roman times with the marble floor and colums in the background. I would think it might also be a love story due to the pretty look of the backdrop and all the other scenery on stage.

Set C) This set seems to be a house on the fonteir somewhere. It is a drama of a families hardships of living out in the wild. The set shows an older fire place and muskets up on the wall these are signs of a modern type of theatre and setting.
Set D) This set reminds of The play Macbeth. It seems gloomy and dark and in a way creepy. This setting would show shakspherian time by the use of gloom and doom.
A)I can see SET A being used for a variety of different shows from mystery to musical. The color and shapes make it a universal set among different specifications. This set has a royal feel to it from the piano, to the plant, and the painted backdrop.
ReplyDeleteB) To me, Set B seems very modern countryside. The colors and props help to bring this idea home. The home does give the viewer a feel of a typical man, but it also feels very dark.
C) Set C reminds me of a play with an old couple of a play that involves a country weekend getaway. The feel of this set is very homey, and is spaced out for a variety of uses.
D)Set D gives me a sense of mystery of evil. The shapes, layout, and color usage are very basic. The set must have been a reflection of Greek time period because they saw the set as unimportant.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you on your analysis of the plays. I can also see set b being used as a modern lifestyle and it being used for a evil type of play.
A) I believe SET A might be either a murder mystery or love story. It looks like it definitely would have a ballroom dance scene. It has much potential. It has many flowers in its design. It also has a nice piano in it. Overall I can safely say that it involves the upper class/higher society in the play.
ReplyDeleteB) Set B reminds me of the musical Oklahoma. It is a picture of a rural area. Most likely a farmhouse. The door itself points to it being rural, in addition to the style of the house itself.
Set C) Makes me think of a possible play that takes place in the early 1900's. Its simplicity is what makes it speak out. It might just be a play about a christmas story.
D) Set, is definitely a murder story to me. The guy in black looks kinda ominous, where the woman in white looks like a possible victim of it all. The other woman seems to be an advocate of any tragic occurences within the storyline.

Set A looks as if it isduring roman times in the palace or in a rich persons manshion in the balcony room and it looks as if it is a love story because of the bright colors. Picture B looks like it is in the 70's and with the american dream. Set C looks like it is in some sort of cabin in the woods or something like that. Set D looks like it was set in roman times in the place of the ceaser and it looks as if someone is going to get killed.

A.) this set seems to me like it would be one where a rich man and maybe his wife and daughter would live and a poor man would come to try and take his daughter.

C.) This set alos looks to me like a cozy house or set. it looks like a feel good family living room where probably alot of people live.
D.) this set looks to me like something from greece or rome or back in the day it looks old

in response to blog 13: the set to me is that of a competay home what I mean is a nice and relaxing place. I agree with Hunter that maybe it is the home of a rich man. set B looks like a nice house also but to mee set a was alot nicer and better kept up. SetC is alot like set A it looks nice and peaceful, some where that a man could stay and relax and think about things. Set D is older looking maybe even dating back to the 1500-1600's it looks cool and I personally would love to live in it. In the end all of the sets looked amazing but my favorite was set C because it looked nice and country like you could walk out your front door and shoot a deer. then go inside and cook the deer you just shot for breakfeast this is the home I see Carter Wolf one day living in. Then I see some one like The Cameron Greater living in set A because come on we all know Cameron is going to be rich.

SET A- In set A there is most likely a celebration. The eloquent decorations and wealthy looks makes it seem as if a ball or wedding could take place there.
ReplyDeleteSET B- Seems to me a rural scene. Most likely a story about cowboys or huntsmen wood take place in this type of setting.
SET C- This set looks like a hunting lodge or an Indian cabin. The guns and antlers on the wall make me lean towards a setup for a hunting lodge but the design and use of red could hint towards an Indian setup.
SET D- This set has a very sci-fi feel to it. The modern looking furniture and openness of the room often are seen in sc-fi settings.
RESPONSE TO HUNTER FICK: Your description of set a seems fairly accurate.
The first set reminds me of a noble man's back yard in England. This is because the design and structure of the pillars and the flowers. This set looks very elegant and that it's owner would be very wealthy. The girl in the back is also dressed very elegant and looks wealthy. The second set looks like it wwould be a setting for an old western play where the west is just starting to be developed and that the building has just been built and not fully completed. The third set looks like an average American house in the mid 1800's. It looks very simple and comfortable for everyone and that it welcomes visitors. Set four's architecture looks greek but the characters on the set look like they would belong to the early 1900's.
